Ask anyone with amazing skin what their secret is. Outside of "genetics," the majority will simply answer, "Water." There is a fine line between 'okay' skin and 'great' skin, and it turns out that that line is H2O. Drink at least 8 glasses of water a day for ideal hydration levels, and adjust as necessary in dry, hot weather. Room-temperature, still water is most compatible with your body, and if you are bored with the taste -or lack thereof- try adding a squeeze of lemon or slices of cucumber.

Cigarettes and alcohol both dry out your skin, putting you at risk for (gasp!) premature lines and wrinkles. But we know that it is unreasonable to expect everyone to quit cold turkey, not to mention the potential hindrance to your social life, so just try experimenting with a little moderation. Really, just one lemon-basil martini will do. Also, a glass of good red wine is full of tannins and antioxidants, so is better for you than other types of alcohol.
